Just sensation like the many crap we hear about 2012 (polar shift) or Global Warming?
Or is it more then sensation ?
What do you think about this?
The reason why I post this is, because the first collision in science history was made yesterday.

Not really that concerned. I'm still waiting for Y2K to destroy us, and obviously zombie outbreaks.

Yeah zombies might be cool ( atleast if they walk slow)
I always wanted to test my new chainsaw:)

This is just scaremongering on behalf of the misinformed, people said electricity was an abomination when it was invented, the same about cars or any other technology.
This is usually done by peole desperate to kick off their careers or by the uneducated.

Hehe, indeed, though most scienist say there can only little black holes created ( and stays for 1 second).
But indeed there is much safety for this probely biggest science experiment ever.
Next year they will close the LHC again, because they gonne prepare the safetyexperiments for a new test.
They actually gone try 14 TeV wich is equavalent to the lightspeed nearly. This means the double teraelektronvolts they tried yesterday with!
But with the 'climate wars' it was the opposit story though. The multinationals and other influential companies tried to deny this fact with their scientist. After that, they tried to deny the problem was made by the human race, and go on. Now all scientist follow this opinion that it's infact a problem made by the human species ( yes even the sceptical anti climate) and ironic most countries don't change their politic to it ( mainly to defend our economics). The best part is that the extreme capitalism probely will fall in the near future, because we defended our economics and prosperity so hard in the past.
Take it from a physicist... this could actually happen..

Oh!?
What's your specialization :)?
I love science, it's so great to know stuff and it's competive and mysterious :P

Currently in University, doing broad Physics, probably ending up in Particle or Quantum Physics.
I say it could happen, its pretty low probability... :p here's hoping though.

i heard a scientist say that these kind of collisions happen daily in our atmosphere so ... :p
not worried AT ALL :p

Well they say a black hole is really bad.
I had recently experience with it and I need to admit, it's not that bad, hey I still live xD *DING!, lv 69 pervert lv*
And yeah aslong we be able to play ToR it's k!

Put a bottle of jack daniels in one hand and a bottle of sailor jerrys in the other, i would be pretty content with the world collapsing around me :)

I'd rather have a 20-Highland Park... but damnit the world shouldn't end until I've experienced a zombie outbreak! Me and some guys have even decided to group up and secure large wallmart buildings :D
