Hey Guys!
Been here jus a few hours and I'm having a good vibe about the place so I'll most prolly be poping on to this forum once a day (yes I'm a net junkie) so I guess you guys deserve a formal intro from moi!
Bit about me, I'm 25, British Muslim, located in London. I'm a civil servant, in full time empolyment. Weekends, I mainly catch up with friends, some gf/bf time and of course game! Most of my hours during the weekdays are invested in work, I tend to come online to game around 6pm if I get out of the office on time. Travel during morning rush hour in central London is pretty insane, most people like to ZERG the first train, which is why I'm in bed by 11pm to ensure an early start.
My gaming habbits - Keen gamer since the mid 90s when my dad got me my first desktop PC - A 333MHz Packard Bell 4Gig HHD 64mb ram, juesus how we'v moved on lol! Remember playing titles such as Commands (Edidos think) and Total Annihilation. Ever since than I've been stuck in this madness of games, if I'm not online I'm playing rts, online games very for me, mainly mmo but I do like a spot of fps - BF games are wicked.
My Rig - Spent a fair bit on my machine to ensure the best gaming experiance I could afford. Bought my rig 2yrs ago, Quad Core Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, 4Gig DDR3 Ram, 74Gig gaming HHD with 500Gig Storage HHD and of course a 8800GTX 756mb DDR3 vid card - Was pretty hot back than and still able to play most games on high settings.
Finally - I'm pumped about ToR, I really think it will replace the love I had for WoW, something I can turn to when I have time to myself, away from the pressure of real life. Something I can jump on to, group together with my fellow guildies and 'Force Crush' some Rebel balls...
...In short, I think I've found my bunch of merry men to invade the fringe of space and spread darkness. Good to be here, and I'm sure we will be pew pewing some enemies of the Empire soon :cool:
